Once again with the categories. I donno?! Could be: sketch, surreal (?), technical, political, fail...all of the above?
This is an update for one of those quick sketches I did in my scraps. I might try to recreate it one day in traditional mediums for one of those personal project ideas I have floating around my head. to a nice full-blown scale (and tidied up) with textures *drool* Speaking of texture... I dont like using stock most of the time because I feel that the piece isnt fully mine, but since I am a hobo so I used this wonderful stained paper stock from: [link] Heh. However, I do have this beautiful 300 year old book (<333333) but I dare not manuever it in a way to scan some of it's tattered pages...plus it doesnt have dramatic staining. As for the message...I dont really like to explain stuff unless prompted to. I feel it limits thought. Ugg signature looks abnoxiously big. |

And if you want cool textures, just take a digital camera and snap closeups of random stuff! And if you want Authentic aging in paper, burn it a bit (suggested with open flame, not lighter) and tea stain it! after you get it all wet and let it dry, it should become brittle making it able to be cracked and such, then just scan it in! XD You probably already knew this, but i thought id just throw my 2cents worth on here! X)
