Yup. Finally finished it.

I probably would have finished it ...oh, 6 months ago before my XBox got the Red Ring of Death, but this will have to do.

It was a pretty cool game and I really wish it was possible to replay some of the later levels as I found those the most entertaining. Plus I think I forgot to do a couple bonus things here and there which I would have liked to have looked into; however, with my luck I'd probably just get butchered. Alas, their saving system makes that impossible to replay levels unless I want to restart the game--again--which I'm not willing to do.

I have not played the previous games (though I have watched walk-throughs of a couple <<;; blame really good fanfictions) so I dont really know how it compares...and I've heard people whine about how they dont like the new steroid abusing Pyramid Head, but personally I'd tell them to knock it off. How the hell could a pasty-thin looking thing hold his head up and drag the great-knife around anyways? Steroid PH is just as daunting as rapist PH. He just has a larger helping of "Badassery" on the side. Dont judge .

On a totally different note I think in-game Alex is a total cutie. T_T I want to give him a hugggg!...but I dont like the concept art of him. Looks too much like a typical frat. boy.

And Hurray! I'm happy to report that I got the good ending! I was very worried about poor little Alex, so it was a great relief to me that I got the 1st ending. Sadly, I didnt get the bonus clip which would have made it even better, but I'll live. The other endings besides the 3rd and the 5th were horrible.

As far as the beasties...I hated the sound effects for the cutscene before the boss, Scarlet. Freaking made me wanted to puke. I also LOATH those Schisms or whatever the hell those stupid buggers were. So damn annoying! Stupid hammerhead shark..blade...face things. Even the Slams were not as bad.

You know what I found interesting though ? Some of the scenes were censored in Australia. It makes me wonder if the US version was censored too...
